There’s a lot in this post and you’ll want to catch it all (hint holiday Stella & Dot finds, a special PSL and S&D shop & a giveaway)!
Every time I wear anything Stella & Dot I receive tons of great compliments and naturally want to share where I found my fabulous jewelry! I was once a Stella & Dot stylist so sharing my love for the pieces was part of the j-o-b, but I’m no longer a stylist and still LOVE Stella & Dot AND still want to share it with others! Helping gals put a little fab in their life is still something I love to do. That’s why Pretty Sweet Life exists!!
Stella & Dot is not only great for jewelry, but did you know they now have bags, wallets, scarves and tech cases!! I. Die. I swear S&D just keeps getting better and better! With so much loveliness to choose from they make a great go-to for your holiday gifting needs!
** the winner will be announced Friday, December 7th so there’s plenty of time to get entries in (some are daily) and the shop is open until 12/14/12 **
What’s on your holiday wish list this year?
While looking for a multipurpose fall shoe I’ve come to really love the look of desert boots! I know they’ve been around for a while, but I think the newer trend, a wedge, that has been added to them is the perfect feminine touch to a shoe that looks like it can still be comfortably and casually worn. I do still love the ease of the standard flat desert boot too.
I haven’t committed to purchasing any of my favorite desert boot looks, but I think I’m leaning toward the J.Crew MacAlister wedge boot.
I’d love to hear how you like to wear your desert boots if you’ve already been on this trend train!
Sara Ricklen, Founder and Chief Polish Officer (who wouldn’t love to have that title!?) took her love of color, design, drawing & fashion and her degree from U of Delaware in Apparel Design and mixed it with her experience in PR, visual merchandising and the desire for a special gift to create Pretty Please. Pretty Please is a nail polish company dedicated to taking a polish you love and making it your own by letting you name it! Fab idea, right?
I found Pretty Please when Sara was a guest blogger on Glitter and Gloss’ Mani Monday. I was instantly in love with her company’s idea and just had to try a bottle or two! I wanted a polish that I could call Pretty Sweet Life so I chose #7. It’s a pink that Barbie would totally rock and what little girl when growing up didn’t kind of want to be like Barbie with her dream house, handsome boyfriend, great friends and an endless closet? The color was an obvious choice: Pretty Sweet Life – blog name + the color for a girl that had it all = just what I was looking for! I also chose #9, a color that would be lovely with an end of summer glow or a pretty winter fairness. The pretty lavender is a very girly color and not as bold as the hot pink but still stands out so it earned the name Flirt!
I really can’t say enough good things about my Pretty Please Polish. I totally plan making #12 mine and cannot wait to see what she has in store for the holidays!
Find the swoon worthy polish at the online Pretty Please boutique and find out why it’s obvious Pretty Please has graced the online pages of Elle, Martha Stewart Weddings and the like.
As a thank you for your loyalty all summer long (when vacays, bbqs and pool days rule your days you still made time for Pretty Sweet Life) I wanted to give you the opportunity to win the polish I fell in love with this summer! Find the contest on the Pretty Sweet Life facebook page >>> (contest entry thurs 8/30 – fri 9/7) Good Luck!
